Hi Colette - I went black water rafting there in the 90's so was a wee while ago. It was heaps of fun - I went in Nov or Dec so would've been a bit warmer then.
When I went they supplied full wetsuits and fed us with soup afterwards.
It was well wor…
I have borrowed a dress - tried on half a dozen dresses - and the consensus of the 3 gals and 2 guys present was that Cinderella shall go to the ball in a full length gown. The salmon dress was too revealing, the black too demure, the crusded velvet…
Hope you have recovered from the ball, and you had a great time as well. It was great to catch up with you. My feet are sore from dancing and it was fun and well worth it.
Wow weta that would freak anyone out glad you got a chocolate fish for your efforts ;o)
I got mine for jumping off a rock backwards (bad idea) onto my rubber tire tube, but I fell through it I grabed the rubber tube coming back up. Looked funny at the time, but at least I got a chocolate fish yum ;o)
Yes Akld all my life, a westie. I love it here. Do you come up to Akld often or only when you need to ;o) So you originlly from the naki? with Naki Girl you must be?
See you to are doing a short trip nice hope you get out and about Auckland hope the weather holds for you.
Hi Naki Girl
Nice to see other Kiwis on this site, read that you went Black Water Rafting, awesome, went back in 2000, great experience, did you get any chocolate fishes the guides gave out for the best jump off the rocks in the caves?
Maybe should let our friends from the US/Canada know about good old Chocolate Fishes and Pineapple lumps? :o)
Have a great day.
Hey, Naki girl. I'm getting very excited to my whole 3 days in NZealand.

Hi Sharon! Can't believe it's just right around the corner - so unbelievably excited! I do have a lot of things planned out - wanted to make certain that I had a spot in certain activities. But I am definitely leaving a couple days for just wingin' it - see where the road takes me and who I meet along the way! I look forward to meeting you and experiencing your country!
Sharon-you are making me really hungry-it is morning ere ad looks like I either have to forage and cook or go out! I have had the Kim Crawford-yes it is very good. Much of our lamb now comes from New Zealand-less seems to come from across the ditch. Have 6 New Zealand chops in the fridge for BBQ this afternoon.
OMG. I think I need to come and visit you. I'm going to Switzerland this summer(July) Maybe a winter trip down under? You got that California look instead of a New Zealand look. I love it!! Gary
