Matchmaking Flight Party Tickets no longer available

*****SORRY THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT******

The Official Matchmaking Flight party is October 16th from 8pm-Midnight at, The Wharf ™, situated on Auckland's sparkling Waitemata Harbour. Mingle with single Americans and Canadians, enjoying an unforgettable evening of music, food, wine, cocktails, celebrity guests, fun and perhaps some magnetic connections (cocktail attire)

Space is limited and is on a first come, first serve basis. Email sarah.reeves@airnz.com

New Zealand Singles are also invited to the “Pre-Party,” and of course, the “After Party”….(no tickets necessary)

The Pre-Party is at 6:30pm at the SKYCITY Grand Hotel where you’ll meet those who traveled on the Matchmaking Flight for a cocktail and conversation.

The After Party starts at midnight and is at SKYCITY’s Bar 3, so if sparks are flying and it’s too early to call it a night, the party buses will depart The Wharf at midnight to take Singles to the After-Party at SKYCITY’s Bar 3.

Kia Ora Paul. Gees you better get some sleep man. Us girls will be waiting here for you and we want to see you on your full potential on the nite, lasting till the early hours of the morning. Anyway,I am the same when I am about to travel overseas lol, so I do understand where you are coming from. I am trying to hop in bed early but have not been successful yet, well still got few days to go I suppose. If you got some time, do head towards my way to the Bay of Islands. Oh for one nite when you lot are on the love plane, we will be a bit lonely here. How will we amuse ourselves I wonder.

Hi Latika; Yes-you spell it with the e-but yes, ok you know what I meant. A customer of mine lived in New Zealand for 10 months after she graduated from engineering school, delaying her start of work. As soon as I decided to come over, I asked her for the "must-do's". Since she is a very solitary outdoors type, she had relatively few "city things", except for this and the museum in Wellington. Many of her other suggestions, I have incorporated into my trip and still have some time left over for the "unplanned." Thanks for your help. Yes, it will not be much longer, until we meet in person. I have been planning since May. Could not sleep last night-stayed up until 3:30 AM and back up at 5:00-only one more night in my bed and than on The Flight-and will be Thursday morning. See you soon!

Hi Paul. I was wondering if you meant Kebab shops. If it is, there are a few on queen street to choose from. Don't know which is the best one though. Oh my goodness, we shall meet soon aye, cheers

Colette, Waitomo caves are a must. I've done it twice. Its cold when you first jump in but you're always on the move and always either laughing with the guides or having something amazing to look at, so you forget about it (and you have a thick wetsuit). Like Naki Girl said you get soup and a warm shower afterwards.

Hi Colette - I went black water rafting there in the 90's so was a wee while ago. It was heaps of fun - I went in Nov or Dec so would've been a bit warmer then.
When I went they supplied full wetsuits and fed us with soup afterwards.
It was well worth the adventure

Megan try Wellington's beautiful South Coast:

...and there's always a chance you will spot seals, dolphins and even the occasional pod of Orca in this area.
